Getting the correct clothing

If I want to get the correct clothing for my artist when I take the photos I will need to research more about the artist. I can look at other magazines they have appeared in. I could also watch some of their vides to see how they dress in them. This will be very useful because it will give me a clearer idea of what they wear. It may not be helpful when it comes to watching the video because they may just wear the attire for the video only.

  1. Great start Ryan. It is clear from these posts the genre and style which you are going for. Rock/metal is always the hardest genre to recreate because it calls for a very 'busy' front cover with lots of text and bands rather than an individual artist.

What I want to see from the next stage of your research is posts on HOW you can create a realistic band as well as who and what you might use to do this. In terms of analysing covers, contents and DPS start analysing Kerrand, AP etc.

I'd also like to see you write about conventions of rock bands in terms of interests and connection with fans.

Keep up the hard work Ryan.
